Lawyers are extremely powerful people in the courtroom, and that power is what I would
like to have. I want to prove the innocence of someone who deserves it, and keep them away from the trouble that doesn’t
belong to them. I know my career will start small, and at that time I can concentrate on making a family. Once my salary increases,
I’ll have enough money for children and have absolutely no financial problems. Lawyers are some of the highest paid
employees these days. Jobs are frequent in many states, but traveling would not be a problem since I’m very interested
in the thought. Anywhere from here in Florida, to across the country in California,
or even another continent is no problem.
At times, I will get a client that is clearly guilty and trying to prove him/her innocent
will be difficult since I believe in punishment for all wrong doing. This is one obstacle that I need to get past in order
to keep my career in good standing. I want to help people, and perhaps the guilty man wasn’t so guilty in his crime.
My job to research and find out everything I can to know the truth, and then to prove it to the jury.
Long hours of investigating and interviews, speaking in front of the jury and courtroom
with all attention on me, having a strict deadline and court date, working with someone completely against me, and on top
of it all, keeping my family intact are all stressors of my chosen career field. With all of that said, I’m still interested.
I probably
would not have a set schedule; I think it all depends on how many people I have wanting my help. Taking advantage of this
gives me the time I need for my family, and for myself. Once I’ve exceeded my wanting of being a lawyer, I’d definitely
like to become involved with the state or government. I expect to have many friendships coming out of my career with people
of high importance to help me with that.
